Hello! My name is Jimmy Meyer and I have been involved with health and fitness for over 18 years. When I was 16 years old, I began a weight training program during my off season basketball workouts. I fell in love with resistance training and began studying
different styles of training and conditioning. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University, and then my personal training certification from The Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas, as well as my CrossFit Level 1 Certification. I served in the United States Air Force where myself and two others were the fitness coordinators for over 1,100 military personnel at 136th Airlift Wing, Fort Worth, Texas.
In my spare time I enjoy bowling and fantasy football. I strongly believe that fitness is a long term way of life, and more of a journey than a destination.
