Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then place a large skillet over medium-high heat on the stove and add the ground beef. Put in salt and pepper.
  2. Next, chop up the onions, tomato, and mushrooms. Cook the beef until brown 5-6 minutes. Add the onions, mushrooms, and minced garlic to the beef, then stir occasionally for another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour the beef and vegetables into an 8’’x 8’’ casserole dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, pour in the whipping cream, 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese, chopped tomato, basil, salt, and pepper and stir together.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture over the beef and vegetables, then add the remaining half cup of shredded cheese to the top.
  6. Put the dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
